Український біженець виграв у лотерею в Бельгії 500 000 євро, повідомляє у понеділок агенція Reuters із посиланням на Національну лотерею Бельгії.

Через війну в Україні «почуття чоловіка були дуже змішаними», – розповіла речниця Національної лотереї Джоук Вермоер. За її словами, думки чоловіка «явно в Україні, і зараз важко радіти всьому, що відбувається в його країні». Але він був «дуже щасливий зі своєї перемоги» і «сповнений надії».

Повідомляється, що чоловік купив скретч-картку за 5 євро на заправці 16 травня.

Національна лотерея, яка не розкриває повну інформацію про своїх переможців, повідомила, що чоловікові від 18 до 24 років. Він у Брюсселі мешкає рік.

Як і інших переможців, чиї виграші становлять понад 100 000 євро, чоловіка запросили до штаб-квартири Національної лотереї в Брюсселі, щоб вручити виграш.

Зазначається, що чоловік повідомив про намір використати гроші на допомогу українцям і на відбудову батьківщини, йдеться в повідомленні лотереї. Але спочатку переможець планує відсвяткувати з родиною та друзями, в тому числі з тими, хто допоміг йому інтегруватися в Брюсселі. У лотереї повідомили: хоча чоловік знайшов роботу у Бельгії, він хотів би повернутися в Україну, як тільки закінчиться війна.
