Запланований на 16 жовтня в Празі виступ російської оперної співачки Анни Нетребко не відбудеться. Про своє рішення повідомили організатори концерту, зокрема, агентство Nachtigall Artists та керівництво Муніципального дому – однієї з найпрестижніших концертних зал чеської столиці, де мав відбутися концерт.

Голова керівництва Муніципального дому Властіміл Єжек зазначив, що «ніхто з тих, хто обговорював питання виступу російської співачки в Празі, зі скасуванням концерту незгодний». Однак «з огляду на обставини, які змінили чисто мистецький проєкт на форму політичної й громадської полеміки, ми разом з агентством Nachtigall Artists вирішили концерт скасувати», наголосив Властіміл Єжек.

Як зазначив заступник мера Праги Їржі Поспішил, рішення організаторів концерту ухвалене в час, «коли війна в Україні не закінчилась, там далі помирають люди». На його думку, «це правильне рішення стосовно нашого головного партнера, який воює за свою незалежність».

Також голова ради керівництва Муніципального дому Ян Вольф наголосив, що «потрібно брати до уваги факт, що в Європі триває війна, а це має неминучий вплив на проведення культурних, громадських чи спортивних акцій».

Як повідомили ЗМІ, є «спільна домовленість з Анною Нетребко, яка заявила, що за скасований концерт з Муніципального дому не вимагатиме компенсації».
