У місті Антіб на півдні Франції помер 92-річний актор, режисер та диктор Радіо Свобода Юліан Паніч.  Про це повідомляє Радіо Свобода.

Йому було 92 роки. Протягом багатьох років він працював провідним диктором станції у Мюнхені.

Панич народився в Україні у Кропивницькому. З 1946 жив у Москві, закінчив Театральне училище імені Щукіна, грав у театрах. В 1972 році Панич із дружиною та сином емігрував до Ізраїлю. Згодом він був запрошений на «Радіо Свобода» до Мюнхена, де протягом багатьох років працював провідним диктором станції, спочатку під псевдонімом Олександр Виноградов.

У СРСР Панич знявся у 15 фільмах, зокрема і на Кіностудії ім. Довженка: “Педагогічна поема” (1955), “Кривавий світанок” (1956, за мотивами повісті Михайла Коцюбинського “Fata Morgana”), “300 років тому…” (1956, грав Тимоша Хмельницького) та “Новели Красного дому” (1964).

В 1972 році Панич із дружиною та сином емігрував до Ізраїлю. Згодом він був запрошений на Радіо Свобода до Мюнхена, де на багато років став провідним диктором станції, спочатку під псевдонімом Олександр Виноградов.

У його виконанні слухачі знайомились із забороненими у Радянському Союзі книгами – "Архіпелаг ГУЛАГ", "Москва-Пєтушки" та інші. У 1980-ті роки Панич керував на "Свободі" програмою "Театр біля мікрофона", а в часи перебудови часто приїжджав до СРСР.
