У Білорусі оголосили «екстремістськими» сайт і соцмережі телеканалу «Настоящее время». Таке рішення 5 січня ухвалив суд Залізничного району Вітебська. Інформацію про це опублікували на сайті мінінформу Білорусі, повідомляє «Настоящее время».

Також «екстремістськими» оголошено проєкти «Настоящее время. Азия», «Настоящее время. Док», «Настоящее время. Беларусь», «Настоящее время. Сюжеты», «Настоящее время. Балтия».

Разом з «Настоящим временем» «екстремістськими» були оголошені ще кілька телеграм-каналів та чатів.

«Настоящее время» — телеканал, створений «Радіо Вільна Європа» / «Радіо Свобода» (RFE / RL) за участю «Голосу Америки» та фінансований за допомогою грантів Конгресу США через Агентство з глобальних медіа (USAGM).

Телеканал визначає своєю місією просування демократичних цінностей та інститутів, а також прав людини. «Настоящее время» мовить російською мовою 24 години на добу в Росії, Україні, країнах Центральної Азії та Східної Європи, а також в інших регіонах.
