Спроба росіян налагодити виробництво китайських автомобілів під маркою "Москвич" обернулася провалом.

Колишній завод Renault у Москві, здатний виробляти 180 тис. машин на рік до переходу у власність московської влади, випустив у 2023 році лише 31 тис. автомобілів. 

Усі вироблені машини були варіаціями моделей китайської JAC, яку подавали як «Москвичі».

З 31 тис. вироблених методом великовузлового збирання машин «Москвич» зміг продати трохи менше половини — 15,3 тис. автомобілів. 

В результаті збиток заводу виріс за рік у 3,6 рази, до 8,6 млрд руб.
