Італійський модельєр Роберто Каваллі помер 12 квітня на 84-му році життя у Флоренції (Італія). Про його смерть повідомили видання la Stampa і Corriere della Sera.

Причини смерті дизайнера не називають, але уточнюють, що протягом останніх років він хворів.

Каваллі народився 15 листопада 1940 року. Він закінчив Академію образотворчих мистецтв у Флоренції, а 1970 року презентував першу колекцію жіночого одягу.

Каваллі був одружений тричі. У березні 2023 року Каваллі вшосте став батьком. На той момент йому було 82 роки. Матір'ю дитини є шведська модель Сандра Нільсон. Вона молодша за Каваллі на 45 років.

Бренд Каваллі здобув популярність у 1970-х роках: тоді модельєр винайшов і запатентував новітню процедуру нанесення малюнків на шкіру.
