Нідерландська служба захисту конфіденційності АР порекомендувала урядовим організаціям припинити використання соцмережі Facebook, доки залишається незрозумілим, що відбувається із особистими даними користувачів урядових сторінок. Про це повідомило видання Reuters.

«Люди, які відвідують урядову сторінку, повинні бути впевнені, що їхні особисті та конфіденційні дані знаходяться у надійних руках», — заявив очільник регулятора Алейд Вольфсен.

Держсекретарка з цифрових справ Олександра ван Хаффелен зі свого боку заявила, що компанія Meta до літа повинна пояснити, як вона може розвіяти занепокоєння нідерландського уряду щодо безпеки даних. Інакше, за її словами, урядовцям доведеться припинити використання платформи.
