Уроки української мови засновник Telegram проходив у застосунку DuoLingo, набрав 5403 бали досвіду з української.

 Вивчення української допомогло йому краще розуміти інші слов’янські мови: польську і чеську.

 На Україну припадає менше 3% світової аудиторії Telegram

 Понад 70% українців використовують Telegram для обміну повідомленнями та новин і все більше публікують контент українською мовою.

Раніше Дуров створив опитування у себе на сторінці, де запропонував підписникам обрати мову, про досвід вивчення якої Дуровим їм цікаво почути. Більшість проголосували за українську.
