На Харківщині в будинок, у підвалі якого перебували кореспондент «Радіо Свобода» Мар’ян Кушнір та операторка Ганна Кудрявцева влучила авіабомба. З ними все добре. Про це в соцмережі X повідомляє «Радіо Свобода».  

«Ми перебували у підвалі цього будинку, який зараз горить. Там прилетів КАБ або ФАБ. Будинок увесь палає, всі цілі. Ми перебуваємо поруч із Вовчанськом, до кордону із Росією тут кілометрів 7–9», — розповів Кушнір.

Мар'ян Кушнір працює на «Радіо Свобода» з 2015 року, з 2022 року він активно висвітлює події, пов’язані з повномасштабним вторгненням Росії в Україну.

У березні 2022 року  Кушнір, виконуючи редакційне завдання, постраждав унаслідок удару російських військ на Київщині — у нього діагностували контузію.

У червні 2022 року Кушнір був одним із журналістів «Радіо Свобода», яких відзначив державними нагородами Президент України Володимир Зеленський
