Функція доступна у Phone Link 1.24051.91.0 поки що лише в передперегляді, проте скоро нею можна буде користуватися всім. Брати текст із зображень можна буде за допомогою Phone Link, через яку зараз уже можна синхронізувати повідомлення, дзвінки та зображення. Функція — хоча й обмежено — працює і з iOS.
Копіювання тексту із зображення в застосунку Microsoft Phone Link
Торік інструмент Windows Snipping Tool отримав функцію копіювання тексту з зображень. За його допомогою можна було деякий час витягувати текст із фотографій телефону. Відмінність від Phone Link у тому, що це оновлення просто заощаджує користувачеві час і дає змогу робити це в одній програмі.
