Застосунок YouTube Music запустив функцію, яка частково нагадує Shazam, а частково — друга, коли запитуєш: «Гей, як називається та пісня?». Ця функція дозволяє наспівувати, насвистувати, співати або відтворювати запис пісні, щоб знайти її.

Функцію почали тестувати в березні. Проте оновлення поки доступне для користувачів Android. Її також було помічено в YouTube Music для iOS в останні місяці, хоча, схоже, вона ще не набула широкого розповсюдження.

Щоб скористатися функцією, потрібно в YouTube Music натиснути на рядок пошуку, а в правому верхньому куті екрану має бути іконка у формі сигналу. YouTube Music розпочне шукати пісню, яка звучить поруч, після натискання на іконку.
