Президент групи OTP Шандор Чані висловив готовність продати російський банк принаймні за 50% від його ринкової вартості.

Водночас є питання, кому у рф можна продати OTP Bank. Більшість інвесторів підсанкційні, а нові іноземні особливо туди не заходять.

З 2022 року OTP зменшує свій бізнес у росії, чого зокрема вимагають європейський та американський регулятори. 

Так, на сьогодні корпоративний портфель знизився на 85%, нових кредитів юрособам банк не видає, а кількість відділень скоротилася на 39%.
