Хоча раніше на платформі вже був контент 18+, його ніколи прямо не дозволяли і не забороняли.

X запровадила правила для публікації порнографії:

обов'язкове маркування чутливого контенту 

заборона відео чи фото, що пропагують експлуатацію, 

відсутність згоди, об'єктивацію

сексуалізацію або завдання шкоди неповнолітнім.
