Бюро журналістських розслідувань (TBIJ) виявило, що Facebook останніми місяцями не заблокував тисячі шахрайських оголошень. 

 Усі вони використовують відео, оброблені штучним інтелектом, і стосуються інформації про політиків.

 Легкість, з якою оголошення ухилилися від правил платформи, викликає занепокоєння щодо здатності Meta, материнської компанії Facebook, стримувати дезінформацію напередодні великих виборів у Європі.

 TBIJ загалом виявив більше 8000 оманливих оголошень. Більшість намагалися просувати інвестиційне шахрайство, часто використовуючи неправдиві статті новин із клікбейтними заголовками.
