80 фермерів із США та Канади створили на своїх полях “картини” із зображенням персонажів культового коміксу Peanuts (“Арахіс”). Так відзначили 75-річчя його першого випуску. Особливу увагу звернули на знаменитого бігля Снупі.

Про це повідомляє New York Post. 

Художник Чарльз М. Шульц опублікував перший випуск свого коміксу Peanuts у жовтні 1950-го у семи американських газетах по усій країні. На той час художнику було лише 27 років. 

Комікси виходили до 1999-го, і за цей час їх опублікували понад 2,6 тис. газет по всьому світу. Комікс описували як “правдивий, влучний, саркастичний, ностальгічний, гірко-солодкий”.

Донька художника Джилл Шульц жартує, що у неї навіть вазони не виживають у квартирі. тож вдячна фермерам, які присвятили свої поля творчості її батька.

В основному, “полотна” виконані на кукурудзяних та соняшникових полях. Розміри різняться – від 0.6 га до 8 га.
