Національний банк України вводить в обіг пам'ятну монету «Сергій Параджанов», присвячену 100-річчю від дня народження видатного режисера. Про це повідомила пресслужба Нацбанку.

«Цього року виповнилося 100 років від дня народження митця. На його честь Національний банк з 4 вересня 2024 вводить в обіг пам’ятну монету “Сергій Параджанов”», — ідеться в повідомленні.

Зазначається, що монета номіналом 5 гривень продовжує серію «Видатні особистості України».

Монета виготовлена зі срібла 925 проби з елементом оздоблення — патинуванням. На аверсі зображено стилізований плід граната в розрізі, що символізує душу митця. На реверсі представлено портрет Параджанова та колаж із фрагментів його робіт.

Тираж монети становить до 7 500 штук. Придбати її можна буде з 10 вересня 2024 року в інтернет-магазині нумізматичної продукції НБУ та у банках-дистриб'юторах.

У НБУ нагадали, що Параджанов — всесвітньо відомий режисер, представник українського поетичного кіно, автор шедеврів «Тіні забутих предків» і «Колір граната».

«Монета є символом нескореності, творчої свободи та вічного пошуку істини Сергієм Параджановим, спадщина якого продовжує жити в кожному кадрі його фільмів», — резюмували в Нацбанку.
