 Фанат Шекспіра пожертвував мільйон фунтів на відновлення будинку його доньки Сюзанни. Про це пише The Guardian.

 Це найбільша пожертва за 177-річну історію благодійної організації, що опікується будинками родини Вільяма Шекспіра.

Кошти пожертвував американський драматург Кен Людвіг. Донатер вважає творчість англійського поета взірцевою, а сам є драматургом і використовує цитати Шекспіра у кожній п’єсі.

Відтак благодійна організація Shakespeare Birthplace Trust (SBT) оплатить будівельні роботи, щоб зберегти Холлс-Крофт — будинок доньки Шекспіра Сюзанни та її чоловіка-лікаря Джона Холла.
