Нова мінімальна зарплата журналістів Financial Times (FT) становитиме 75 000 доларів на рік після майже двох років переговорів. Пише Press Gazette.

 

Новий контракт наближає виплати в США до розмірів зарплат колег у Великій Британії. Він ще має бути схвалений членами гільдії США FT під час голосування.

Раніше нові працівники FT у США отримували мінімальну зарплату на 4 тисячі доларів менше— 71000 доларів.

Кореспондент FT Chicago Клер Буші сказала: "Досягти цієї угоди було важкою роботою, але я дуже пишаюся тим, що ми це зробили. Це покращить життя співробітників FT у США, і це зробить компанію більш конкурентоспроможною на цьому ринку".
