Цього року виповнюється 20 років кампанії Dove «Real Beauty», яка зробила бренд чемпіоном для жінок — силою добра в очах жінок.

Greenpeace використав цей ювілей, щоб закликати Dove до захисту своєї репутації в рамках кампанії під назвою «Toxic Influence», яка привертає увагу до забруднення навколишнього середовища пластиком, що використовується компанією Dove. Компанія Unilever, власник Dove, є одним з найбільших у світі забруднювачів навколишнього середовища пластиком.

Щоб донести свою точку зору, Greenpeace віддзеркалив рекламний ролик агентства Ogilvy «Real Beauty», але з певним поворотом. У ролику зіставлені сцени, в яких матері та доньки дивляться ролики з реклами Dove і діляться своєю позитивною оцінкою бренду, з роликами про роль брендів у світовій кризі пластикового забруднення.

Жінки були справжніми клієнтами Dove для автентичності. Сценарію не було, але учасниці знали, що це ролик Greenpeace. 

«Toxic Influence» розміщений на YouTube, Meta, TikTok і LinkedIn за підтримки співпраці з інфлюенсерами.
