Телерадіокомпанія BBC скасувала інтерв'ю з колишнім прем'єр-міністром Великої Британії Борисом Джонсоном у прайм-тайм після того, як ведуча Лаура Кюнсберг випадково надіслала йому свої нотатки щодо цієї розмови. Про це пише The Guardian.

Ведуча сказала, що інтерв'ю не можна провести, оскільки вона «помилково надіслала йому інформаційні нотатки у повідомленні, призначеному для команди».

«Очевидно, це означає, що інтерв’ю продовжувати не варто. (...) Це дуже прикро, і немає сенсу прикидатися, що є щось інше, окрім збентеження та розчарування, оскільки є багато важливих запитань, які потрібно поставити», — сказала вона.

Пресслужба BBC News повідомила у соцмережі Х, що ця помилка зробила інтерв'ю неможливим, тож BBC та команда Бориса Джонсона погодилися його скасувати.

Джонсон, який був прем’єр-міністром Великої Британії з 2019 по 2022 роки, мав дати 30-хвилинне інтерв’ю 3 жовтня о 19:30  в програмі BBC One у межах промотуру своїх мемуарів «Unleashed», які вийдуть 10 жовтня.

Інші мовники й подкастери закликали ВВС не скасовувати інтерв’ю, а просто замінити ведучу.
