Гравці барселонського футбольного клубу «Еспаньйол» вийшли на поле емоційно та самовіддано. Перед матчем проти «Мальорки» кожен із гравців першої команди вийшов на поле у супроводі покинутого собаки.

Деякі гравці несли собак на руках, у той час як інші йшли поруч з ними, створюючи потужний і зворушливий образ для тисяч присутніх глядачів. Собаки, які чекали на адопцію, отримали можливість бути показаними у великому медійному та спортивному контексті, підсилюючи повідомлення клубу про прихильність до безпритульних тварин.

Щоб продовжити цю акцію, клуб також закликав вболівальників жертвувати корм для тварин, ковдри та рушники, призначені для місцевих притулків.

Ця ініціатива є частиною більш широкої кампанії під назвою «Els pericos no abandonan», яка відбулася минулого року. 

Цього року кампанія знову мала великий успіх, привернувши увагу до собак і зібравши понад 1,3 мільйона переглядів у соціальних мережах, а також нагадавши про важливість адопції та боротьби з відмовами від тварин.
