У рамках серії нових функцій безпеки для захисту молодих людей в Інтернеті та у зв’язку зі зростанням кількості шахрайських дій, пов’язаних з сексторшном, соцмережа не дозволить користувачам робити скриншоти або запис екрана тимчасових зображень або відео у приватних повідомленнях.

Meta також анонсувала фільтри, які розмиватимуть оголені зображення, і міститимуть попередження про наслідки поширення такого контенту, а також запровадить обмеження доступу до списків «Підписки» та «Підписники» для підозрілих акаунтів.
