Російські користувачі поскаржилися на неможливість завантажити оновлення драйверів із сайту Nvidia. При спробі завантажити нову версію програмного забезпечення для відеокарт лінійки GeForce висвічується повідомлення про заборону доступу та блокування запиту фаєрволом Edgecast WAF. Оновлення драйверів не скачуються і через програму для відеокарт Nvidia.  Аналогічні проблеми спостерігаються у Білорусі.

Nvidia є провідним виробником відеокарт та чіпів, а також головним бенефіціаром розвитку штучного інтелекту. У середині жовтня вона випередила за капіталізацією Microsoft ($3,31 трлн проти $3,12 трлн) і стала другою в списку найдорожчих компаній світу після Apple ($3,52 трлн).
