У Лондоні відкрився перший ресторан шведського меблевого гіганта IKEA, відомого своїми фрикадельками та меблями в упаковці. Це означає, що гурмани можуть радіти, адже їм більше не потрібно купувати меблі, щоб cпробувати культові страви від ритейлера.

У ресторані IKEA, що знаходиться у лондонському районі Гаммерсміт і вміщує 75 осіб, подають різноманітні шведські страви з меню бістро та кафе за ціною від 3,75 фунтів стерлінгів. Сюди входять фірмові класичні фрикадельки з картопляним пюре та горохом.

Також меню включає пасту з томатами та базиліком, фіш-енд-чипс та лосось з кускусом, а також два варіанти готових сніданків. Також є дитяча паста з томатами, яка подається з безалкогольним напоєм і шматочком фрукта. Серед інших страв — знамениті хот-доги ІКЕА, морозиво та різноманітні десерти.

Ресторан, який відчинив свої двері минулого тижня, в перший день відвідало понад 1000 клієнтів, а за вихідні його відвідало ще понад 5000, що беззаперечно доводить любов британців до шведських фрикадельок.
