YouTube заявив, що тестує функцію з «невеликою кількістю» креаторів, яка дозволяє їм записувати голосові відповіді на коментарі до їхніх відео.

YouTube сподівається, що цей експеримент «уможливить більш значущі стосунки між креаторами та їхньою аудиторією». Ютубери з тестової групи можуть скористатися цією функцією, натиснувши на іконку звукової хвилі під час відповіді на коментар, натиснувши «записати голосову відповідь», а потім опублікувати її у звичайному режимі. Однак будь-хто інший може взаємодіяти з цими відповідями так само, як зі звичайними текстовими коментарями.

Поки що креатори в тестовій групі можуть створювати голосові відповіді лише в застосунку YouTube для iOS, і лише на свої власні відео. 

Видання The Verge також зазначило, що у браузері на комп’ютері Mac відтворити голосове повідомлення не вийшло, але це можна було зробити у застосунку YouTube на телефонах iPhone 15 Pro і Pixel 6.
