На Таймс-сквер у Нью-Йорку відбулася інсталяція, яка через дитячі малюнки та цитати нагадала світу про війну в Україні.

Три крейдяні малюнки показували контраст між святковим Різдвом і жахами війни: будинок під загрозою обстрілів, втрачених батьків та різдвяні шкарпетки з листами дітей. Матеріали взяті з книги «Очима дітей», виданої цієї осені в США.

Організатори події наголосили на підтримці 8 мільйонів дітей, які постраждали від війни.

Ганка Смірнова, засновниця проєкту Rebirth.Ukraine, зазначила, що цей проєкт демонструє стійкість і мрії українських дітей. Співорганізатор Азад Сафаров підкреслив важливість донесення цих історій до американців.
