Олексій Безпальцев загинув під час виконання бойового завдання на Харківщині. До того він рік тримав оборону на Покровському напрямку.

Йому було 34 роки.

Як зазначили в PEN Ukraine, Олексій Безпальцев — харківський поет та прозаїк, який запам’ятався своїми емоційними виступами.

«Завжди любив фільми, музику, поезію, треш, випити та кататись на велосипеді. Він був та буде найкращим. Найкращий Президент Харкова, Король Харківського трешу та андеграунду — Олексій “Шляпа” Безпальцев», — написав про нього один зі знайомих.
