Сьогодні Варшава за присутності польських та іноземних дипломатів, а також польської діаспори закрила генконсульство Польщі у Санкт-Петербурзі.

Відтак, після 53 років орендування будівлі Польща повернула її владі російського міста.

За словами посла, майно генконсульства було перевезено до Польщі, посольства країни у Москві, а також частково передано благодійним організаціям та костелам.
