Російський газовий гігант «Газпром» планує скоротити чисельність персоналу центрального офісу в Санкт-Петербурзі на майже 40% — з понад 4100 до приблизно 2500 осіб.
За словами заступниці генерального директора, це необхідно для зменшення витрат і прискорення прийняття рішень. За 20 років чисельність адміністрації "Газпрому" зросла в кілька разів, а фонд оплати праці сьогодні становить 50 млрд. рублів на місяць.
Частина працівників може бути переведена до інших підрозділів або дочірніх компаній. Остаточне рішення має ухвалити генеральний директор Олексій Міллер, а детальний план буде представлено до 15 лютого.
Скорочення пов’язане зі значним зниженням доходів компанії після того, як європейські клієнти розірвали контракти через вторгнення росії в Україну. У 2023 році «Газпром» зазнав першого річного чистого збитку за 24 роки.
Станом на кінець 2023 року в групі «Газпром» працювало понад 498 тисяч осіб.
