Борис Джонсон пообіцяв британським телеглядачам, що угоду про мінерали ось-ось підпишуть. Пообіцяв і втік з ефіру.

 24 лютого вранці колишній британський прем'єр-міністр Борис Джонсон ходив центром Києва, а телеканал ITV намагався зробити з ним розлоге пряме включення. 

Джонсон спростував заяви Трампа про те, що Україна винна у війні. А угоду про корисні копалини між США та Україною, яку мають підписати, назвав вигідною для України. 

Потім Джонсон різко заявив, що завершує інтерв’ю. 

Однак, бажаючи продовжити розмову, Мадлі втрутився: «Як колишній прем’єр-міністр, як би ви поводилися з американським президентом, який каже, що чорне — це біле?» 

Очевидно поспішаючи, Джонсон відповів: «Треба продовжувати перекидати м'яч через сітку». 

І вийшов з кадру.
