На фронті загинув 28-річний Василь Ратушний, брат відомого активіста Романа Ратушного, який поліг у бою 2022 року.

Про це повідомили у фейсбуку мати загиблого, українська письменниця, поетеса, журналістка Світлана Поваляєва та його батько, боєць ЗСУ Тарас Ратушний.

"Вночі на бойовому виїзді від прямого прильоту FPV загинув пілот БПЛА "Птахів Мадяра" Василь Ратушний. Мій старший син, моє життя", – написалаСвітлана.

За її словами, Василь помер 27 лютого.

Тарас Ратушний у своєму дописі процитував слова полеглого сина:

"Я коли дивлюсь в майбутнє, то розумію: єдине, що має хвилювати, це багатократне збільшення втрат ворога, аби хоча б призупинити бойові дії на деякий час. Всі інші речі, особливо які навпаки ведуть до зменшення втрат [ворога], просто не матимуть сенсу…".

Він назвав його позивний - "Птах Каштан". 

"Василь Ратушний. На щиті. Честь, Сину..."
