Вартість соцмережі X Ілона Маска зросла до 44 мільярдів доларів. Водночас на початку вересня 2024 року X оцінювали у суму, нижчу ніж 10 млрд доларів. Це підкреслює різкий поворот у долі компанії після того, як її власник став союзником президента США Дональда Трампа. Про це з посилання на Financial Times повідомляє Liga.net.

Соцмережа X також працює над залученням нового капіталу в межах основного раунду фінансування. Йдеться про плани залучити приблизно два млрд доларів шляхом продажу нових акцій. Отримані гроші планують спрямувати на погашення понад одного млрд доларів боргу, який Маск взяв на себе для фінансування викупу компанії у 2022 році.

За даними джерел Financial Times, є ознаки того, що план Ілона Маска зі скорочення витрат компанії працює, а доходи підвищуються. Однак інше джерело заявило, що показник EBITDA (Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization; операційний прибуток — ред.) був «дико скоригований».

Нагадаємо, що рівень мови ворожнечі в соціальній мережі X зріс приблизно на 50% після купівлі платформи Ілоном Маском у 2022 році. Водночас кількість бот-акаунтів не зменшилася. Про це йшлосяв дослідженні Каліфорнійського університету.
