Амбасадор фандрейзингової платформи UNITED24, актор Лієв Шрайбер, і фронтмен гурту Gogol Bordello Євген Гудзь зустрілися в легендарному українському ресторані «Веселка» в Нью-Йорку, щоб спекти найважливішу паску цього року. Її приготували з борошна з пшениці, зібраної на розмінованому полі в деокупованій Харківській області. 

Пшеницю, з якої була виготовлена ​​ця паска, зберіг фермер із північної частини області, що потерпала від постійних обстрілів. Вироблене з неї борошно експортували до США та використали для випікання цього хліба.

 

Пекарський майстер-клас відбувся в межах проєкту Міністерства економіки України та Програми розвитку ООН (ПРООН) в Україні Soul of Soil 2.0, який має на меті висвітлити проблему замінованих територій і показати ціну виготовлення українського хліба.

Сьогодні потенційно заміновано 139 000 км² української землі, що робить гуманітарне розмінування надважливим для України процесом. До продуктивного використання вже повернуто 35 км². Щоб допомогти українським саперам очистити країну від вибухонебезпечних предметів, UNITED24 запустила напрям «Гуманітарне розмінування», залучаючи своїх амбасадорів і донорів у всьому світі до збору коштів.
