Иностранная пресса сообщает, что Украина намерена предпринять вторую попытку инициировать миротворческую миссию на Восточной Украине. Заняв с первого января место непостоянного члена Совета Безопасности ООН, Украина планирует использовать свои полномочия для проведения более широких переговоров по мирному урегулированию конфликта на Донбассе. В западных СМИ также пишут, что СБУ недоговаривает о хакерском нападении на энергосистемы страны в прошлом месяце.

Переживет ли Украина досрочные парламентские выборы-2016?

Вот и еще один год стал просто историей. Оглядываясь на то, через что мы прошли в 2015-м, отчаянно хочется верить, что наступивший 2016-й будет лучше и легче. Хочется верить, что цены в магазинах опустятся, зарплаты вырастут, тарифы приобретут хоть какой-то оттенок логики, а политики наконец вспомнят, что такое совесть. Хочется верить, что война наконец закончится, а мы сможем выкарабкаться из той экономической трясины, в которой оказались.

Отказ Украины возвращать «долг Януковича», в комплексе с торговым эмбарго и энергетической блокадой Крыма, воспринимается западной прессой как начало «полномасштабной» экономической войны с Россией. По мнению некоторых журналистов, украинское правительство умышленно загнало себя в патовую ситуацию с кредитом, чтобы не платить России по евробондам. Северный поток-2 по-прежнему воспринимается «камнем преткновения» на пути к единству Европы.

Главной украинской темой в иностранных СМИ сегодняшнего утра стала тема энергозависимости Крыма от Украины. После того, как энергоснабжение аннексированного полуострова было восстановлено после двухнедельного «блэкаута», ситуация с подрывом линий электропередач повторилась снова. Сегодня также станут известны результаты опроса Крыму, проведенного там по указанию Кремля, на предмет формального признания полуострова частью Украины.

В иностранной прессе сообщается, что выполнение Минских соглашений было перенесено на следующий год, но пока без определенных сроков. Что примечательно, на причинах срыва имплементации мирного соглашения внимание не акцентируется. Новый дедлайн планируют согласовать на встрече глав МИДов уже к концу января. Финансовая помощь МВФ может оказаться под угрозой срыва, если правки в налоговое законодательство не будут приняты фондом.
