У віці 84 роки помер американський композитор Альф Клаузен, який 27 років створював треки для мультсеріалу «Сімпсони». Про це пишеAssociated Press з посиланням на доньку композитора Каарін Клаузен.

Альфа Клаузена не стало у четвер, 29 травня. Чоловік помер у своєму будинку в Лос-Анджелесі, до того він 10 років боровся з хворобою Паркінсона. 

Крім «Сімпсонів», Клаузен написав музику для телесеріалів «Місячне сяйво» та «Альф». Композитор був 30 разів номінований на премію «Еммі», 21 з них — за «Сімпсонів». Він здобував перемогу двічі — у 1997 і 1998 роках. 

Альф Клаузен також п’ять разів вигравав премію «Енні», якою відзначають роботу в анімації у кіно та на телебаченні.

Головну пісню для мультсеріалу «Сімпсони» створив Денні Елфман, водночас Клаузен приєднався до проєкту у 1990 році й забезпечував практично всю його музику до 2017 року. Композитор створив майже 600 партитур і для їх виконання диригував оркестром, що складався з 35 учасників.

Один із перших сценаристів мультсеріалу Аль Жан написав у Х, що: «Клаузен був неймовірно талановитою людиною, яка так багато зробила для “Сімпсонів”».

В Альфа Клаузена залишилися дружина Саллі, діти Каарін, Скотт і Кайл, пасинки Джош та Емілі, а також 11 онуків.
