У Києві американський журналіст Крістофер Волтерс зазнав травм унаслідок обвалу балкона. Про це він повідомив на своїй інстаграм-сторінці. 

«У центрі столиці ось так падають балкони… Балкон, під котрим люди проходять до під'їзду. В той час коли літають ракети та дрони, нас травмують балкони через чиюсь безвідповідальність!» — ідеться в дописі журналіста. 

У своєму відео він пояснив, що стояв на балконі на другому поверсі, коли той раптово обвалився. 

На інцидент відреагував голова Київської міської військової адміністрації Тимур Ткаченко. За його словами, падіння сталося прямо перед входом у під'їзд багатоквартирного будинку в Подільському районі.

Ткаченко повідомив у своєму телеграм-каналі, що доручив новопризначеному голові Подільської райдержадміністрації Володимиру Наконечному вийти на зв'язок з потерпілим, взяти ситуацію по цьому будинку на особистий контроль і провести інспекцію всіх фасадів на предмет аварійності.

«Ми надамо всю допомогу. А потім буде серйозна розмова з районними керуючим компаніями», — додав посадовець.

Кріс Волтерс — американський журналіст і режисер, який документує війну Росії проти України. Він є автором, зокрема, документального фільму «Комедія війни: сміх в Україні» про гастролі українських стендап-коміків у прифронтових зонах.
