МВФ оставила свои прогнозы по экономике Украины на 2015 год без изменений — 9% падение ВВП и 46% инфляции. Главной угрозой финансовой стабильности Украины была названа российская агрессия, второй по счету — затянувшиеся переговоры по реструктуризации внешнего долга, и замкнуло тройку основных проблем, отставание в принятии политических реформ. Второй новостью дня стало решение российского правительства ввести ответные санкции против стран-не членов ЕС, поддержавших западные санкции против России.
