Официальные власти России упорно отрицают интервенцию своих вооруженных сил в Крым, утверждая, что действуют, согласно договору. Точно также они "не видят" того, что граждане РФ принимают активное участие в антимайдановский митингах на Юге и Востоке Украины. 1 марта Совет Федерации России разрешил Президенту РФ Владимиру Путину ввести российские войска на территорию Украины. И глава российского государства, он же верховный главнокомандующий армии РФ, еще не подписав, т.е. не введя в силу этого решения, начал его выполнять – на территории Крымского полуострова появились военные авто, самолеты и солдаты без опознавательных знаков.

На минувшей неделе Верховная Рада наконец разрешила киевлянам избрать мэра и новый городской совет, полномочия которых истекли соответственно в 2012 и 2013 гг. Перезагрузка местного самоуправления в столице пройдет 25 мая по смешанной избирательной системе.
