Лидер Коммунистической партии Украины Петр Симоненко заявил о том, что коммунисты поддерживают людей, которые принимают участие в акции протеста на Евромайдане.

"Люди действительно вышли бороться сегодня против той политики, которая за 22 года привела к упадку государства и к обнищанию нашего народа. И в этом мы поддерживаем граждан Украины, независимо от того, откуда они приехали. Они сегодня приехали бороться за свои рабочие места, зарплаты и будущее своих детей", - заявил он во время пресс-конференции 10 декабря.

В то же время Симоненко заявил, что события на Майдане стали последствием кланового противостояния власти и оппозиции, а толчком стало совместное препятствование власти и оппозиции проведению референдума.

Пока украинские коммунисты, как оказалось, поддерживают Евромайдан, коммунисты постоветского пространства пишут им письма с поддержкой, поскольку думают, что те тут занимают "мужественную позицию".

Напомним, Арсений Яценюк заявил, что "богаче коммуняк нет никого в Украине".
