Тем не менее, западные таблоиды после выхода материала дружно обвинили подругу олигарха в расизме - пишет "Экспресс-газета".

На фотографии, которая сопровождает интервью с Жуковой, директор музея современного искусства "Гараж" и главный редактор одноименного журнала изображена сидящей на кресле, выполненном в виде связанной полуголой черной женщины

Несколько крупных англоязычных изданий, включая The Huffington Post, обратили внимание на эту публикацию, посчитав изображение унижающим достоинство чернокожих женщин. После волны критики в социальных сетях Buro 24/7 откадрировал фотографию так, что большая часть кресла стала не видна, однако первоначальный вариант фото уже успел распространиться по всему интернету.

Как отреагировала на критику Дарья, пока неизвестно.
