Члены феминистской группы FEMEN устроили 9 октября акцию протеста в испанском парламенте, сообщает Lenta.ru со ссылкой на испанское издание The Local. Три активистки, оголив грудь, начали скандировать лозунги в защиту права женщин на аборт. Своим выступлением они хотели выразить протест против намерения властей ужесточить законодательство в отношении абортов.

Феминистки прошли в здание парламента как обычные посетительницы. Вместе с другими желающими поприсутствовать на заседании они разместились на балконе, расположенном над залом парламента. Активистки разделись и начали свою акцию, когда перед депутатами выступал министр юстиции Альберто Руис-Гальярдон (Alberto Ruiz Gallardón).

Пока девушек пыталась увести служба охраны парламента, оппозиционная коалиция «Объединенные левые» им аплодировала.

Акция была приурочена к планам нынешнего консервативного правительства представить в октябре меры по ужесточению закона об абортах. Это было одним из предвыборных обещаний премьер-министра Мариано Рахоя, пришедшего к власти в 2011 году. Существующее на данный момент законодательство, разрешающее делать аборт вплоть до 14-й недели беременности или даже до 22-й недели при деформации плода, было принято в 2010 году правительством социалистов.

Группа FEMEN ранее предупреждала о начале борьбы с патриархатом в Испании. В частности, в августе феминистки рассказывали, что проходят подготовку в парижском штабе движения, где учатся техникам гражданского неповиновения. Около года назад открылось представительство FEMEN в Париже. Это произошло после того, как украинская активистка движения Инна Шевченко, спилившая поклонный крест в Киеве, получила во Франции политическое убежище.
