Народный депутат Геннадий Москаль прокомментировал законопроект о защите прав сексуальных меньшинств.
 
"Вы знаете, у нас когда-то было, это учили в средней школе милиции, была 122 статья, «мужеложство» называлась - независимо, добровольно, недобровольно…антиподы коммунистической морали – их называли. Сейчас такой статьи нам, конечно, не надо - они родились такими. Но давайте не будем лезть ни к кому в постель и его личную сексуальную жизнь – я противник этого", - сказал Москаль в интервью интернет-изданию "Публичные люди". 
 
В то же время депутат высказался против афиширования своих сексуальных предпочтений:
 
"Не надо ставить вот эту кровать со своими сексуальными извращениями на обозрение. Это не квартал красных фонарей. Пожалуйста, извините меня, если я скажу что-то грубое: Трахайтесь, как хотите, но не показывайте это на людях. Выключите лампочку и милости просим".
