Кабинет министров перенес вторую Всеукраинскую перепись населения с 2013 на 2016 год. Соответствующее распоряжение правительство приняло 4 сентября, но текст документа обнародовано на сайте Кабмина в пятницу, сообщает "Главком".

Отметим, что Министерство экономического развития и торговли планировало провести перепись населения в 2014 году.

Напомним, вторую всеукраинскую перепись населения планировалось провести в 2011 году, но в 2010 году правительство перенесло ее проведение на 2012 год, а в 2012 году - на 2013 год.

Последняя перепись населения Украины проводилась в 2001 году.

По установленной практике и согласно рекомендациям ООН переписи населения в большинстве стран мира проводятся раз в десять лет.
