Православная церковь Московского патриархата заявила, что хотела бы видеть на месте разрушенного памятника Ленину монумент святой великомученице Варваре. Столичные власти предложили установить там памятник меценату Николаю Терещенко, а митингующие хотели бы видеть там певицу Руслану, пишет Сегодня.

Управляющий делами УПЦ МП митрополит Бориспольский и Броварской Антоний отметил, что святая Варвара почитается как в православной, так и в католической церкви, поэтому идею поддержит большинство жителей столицы. К тому же, по его словам, мощи святой Варвары с XII века находятся в Киеве.

Тем временем столичные власти не отказываются от идеи установить на этом месте памятник киевскому промышленнику и меценату Николаю Терещенко. Он — человек, которому жители столицы обязаны появлением художественного музея, КПИ, Театра оперетты, Владимирского собора и больницы Охматдет.

А вот у митингующих на Майдане свои мысли по этому поводу. Вместо вождя пролетариата протестующие предлагают установить памятник активистке Евромайдана — певице Руслане. В палаточном городке уже появились транспаранты с надписями «Руслані пам’ятник замість Леніна».

Напомним, 8 декабря в Киеве был разрушен последний памятник Ленину - вечером группа людей с символикой Свободы снесла памятник Ленину на бульваре Шевченко с помощью троса, а затем разбила его кувалдой.

Поваленного Ленина продают на Slando: частями и на вес. Ладонь стоит 1000 гривен, кусочек руки – 750 гривен. А в соцсетях сразу же появились коллажи на тему сноса Ленина.
