Если президент Украины Виктор Янукович проиграет выборы 2015 года, он может сесть в тюрьму. Такое мнение выразил политтехнолог Владимир Грановский в интервью журналу «Країна», пишет Новый Регион.

«Проигрыш на выборах может превратиться в катастрофу. Тимошенко была уверена, что все будет хорошо, что границу не перейдут. И что? Перешли. А прецеденты в политике живучи – это может ждать и Януковича», – сказал он.

По мнению политконсультанта, который считается приближенным к олигарху Дмитрию Фирташу, Януковичу следует обезопасить себя от такой перспективы, отдав должность премьера оппозиции.

«Есть время и возможность пригласить возглавить правительство представителя оппозиции. Лучше всего – Арсения Яценюка. Ничего такого удивительного в этом нет – в 1999 году Кучма назначил премьером Ющенко. Возможно, это и спасло его тогда. Сейчас сложная экономическая ситуация. Политически правильно было бы предоставить лидеру оппозиции возможность справиться с фактически преддефолтным состоянием экономики», – сказал Грановский.

По его мнению, такой шаг позволит Януковичу улучшить свой имидж в глазах Европы и упросить работу с парламентом.

«Возможности для маневра у Януковича ограничены. Победить можно только в случае, если существенно снизить градус напряженности в элитах и обществе. Для этого нужно изменить Конституцию, уменьшить полномочия президента. Тогда и проигрыш не будет страшен», – сказал Грановский.
