Новый операционный директор популярной соцсети Instagram рассказал, когда пользователям стоит ожидать появления рекламы, - сообщает CyberSecurity

Вложившая 1 миллиард долларов в покупку Instagram Facebook, судя по всему, ждет возврата своих вложений. Сейчас на сайте для размещения мобильных фотографий нет рекламы, но новый операционный директор компании прогнозирует, что она появится в течение года.

"Мы хотим делать деньги в долгосрочной перспективе, но в краткосрочном периоде у нас нет никакой спешки", - говорит операционный директор Instagram Эмили Уайт.

Вчера сервис сообщил, что количество его пользователей достигло 150 млн человек, при том что всего полгода назад компания сообщала о 100 млн пользователей. Стот отметить, что, согласно отчету, пока Instagram - это на 60% американская аудитория.

"Перед нами сейчас стоит задача - интегрировать маркетинг в площадку и не вмешиваться в быстрый рост аудитории сервиса", - рассказала Эмили.

Теоретически, Instagram мог бы делать миллионы долларов в день, но им тогда нужен большой штат продавцов и риск загрязнения своей социальной среды рекламой", - говорит Брайен Визер, аналитик Pivotal Research Group.

Уайт говорит, что сейчас для них основным приоритетом является пользовательская база и компания будет делать все, чтобы не нарушать тенденции ее роста.
