Попов признался, что городская электричка убыточна. Глава КГГА внезапно обнаружил, что ему подсунули не очень поездатые поезда.

Составам, которые эксплуатируются хваленым PRоектом Александра Попова "Городская элеткричка", стукнуло 30 лет. В перерасчете на капиталистические единицы, это означает около 3 млн. гривен ежемесячных ремонтов.

"Нам приходится тратить около 36 миллионов гривен в год для поддержания стабильной работы городской электрички. И даже это не гарантирует, что транспорт будет работать исправно", - сказал глава Киевской горгосадминистрации Александр Попов, цитирует пресс-служба КГГА.

"Работать дальше в таком режиме мы не можем. Поэтому нашей приоритетной задачей на следующий год является производство, затем приобретение и эксплуатация в столице украинских вагонов, которые специально будут изготовлены под такой вид транспорта", - сказал Попов.

По словам чиновника, для пущего интереса и веселья, в планах столичной власти увеличить количество подвижного состава (возраст поездов -"пополняшек" Попов не уточнил) и открыть новые станции "Протасов Яр" и "Киевская Русановка" (зачем дорого ломающимся поездам новые станции -  проверка украинцев на уровень IQ).

Стоит отметить, что "электричка" эксплуатировалась и ломалась в долг. Как стало известно вчера, суд обязал "Киевпасстранс" выплатить ЮЗЖД 30 млн.гривен задолженности.
