Компания Samsung решила использовать имя поп-певицы Майли Сайрус для рекламы умных часов Galaxy Gear. В опубликованном материале корейская корпорация позиционирует гаджет как незаменимую вещь для тех, у кого нет карманов для смартфона: на снимке изображены женские трусы с соответствующей надписью.

Сообщение в Twitter обращено к Майли Сайрус, которой британское подразделение Samsung настоятельно рекомендует обратить внимание на упоминаемые Galaxy Gear. Как отмечает CNET, на фотографии, если соотнести пропорции, фигурирует достаточно крупный экземпляр женского белья — XXXL (54-й), сообщает onliner.

Почти треть купивших Galaxy Gear — "умные часы" Samsung — в американских магазинах электроники Best Buy вернули их обратно. Это следует из внутреннего документа Samsung. 

Часы Galaxy Gear Samsung представила в начале сентября. Они оснащены 1,63-дюймовым экраном, 800-мегагерцевым процессором и 1,9-мегапиксельной камерой, объектив которой находится в ремешке. Устройство выступает "компаньоном" для смартфона или планшета.
