Евросоюз продлил еще на полгода антироссийские санкции, сообщают западные СМИ. В принципе, ничего удивительного не произошло — все случилось ровно так, как всеми и ожидалось. Россия не сделала ничего из требований Запада, чтобы рассчитывать на какое-то снисхождение к себе. Регулярное введение дипломатических и экономических ограничений для РФ становится уже банальной обыденностью для цивилизованного общества. Ядерное оружие — единственный весомый аргумент России в противостоянии с Западом, и она им умело пользуется, отмечается большинством военных экспертов. По всем остальным параметрам РФ серьезно уступает военной машине НАТО. А учитывая, что военное сотрудничество по многим стратегически важным вопросам и технологиям прекращено полностью, то Россия еще и рискует серьезно отстать от передовых стран мира. В ответ на вчерашнее сообщение Пентагона о подготовке к переброске в Восточную Европу тяжелого вооружения, в РФ снова угрожали Искандерами. По мнению многих западных аналитиков, Россия опасно балансирует на грани войны. А это если и не приведет к прямому военному противостоянию, то, как минимум, подстегнет очередную гонку вооружения. Вторая проблемная тема — пропаганда и цензура в СМИ, европейские защитники журналистики отнесли свободу слова в Украине в одни ряд со свободой слова в России.
