Представники 35 країн світу, які взяли участь у Варшавській конференції на тему підтримки російськомовних ЗМІ, наголосили, що кожен із громадян повинен мати доступ до ретельно перевіреної та об'єктивної інформації. Про це пише "Польське Радіо", передають Українські новини.

Учасники конференції визнали, що існує потреба відповісти на російську пропаганду. "Однак відповіддю не може стати контрпропаганда, тільки об'єктивні програми російською мовою", - наголосив керівник польської дипломатії Гжегож Схетіна.

Зустріч у Варшаві була першою зустріччю країн, що беруть участь у підтримці медіа-проектів у країнах впливу російської пропаганди.

У четверговою конференції взяли участь представники держав-членів Співтовариства та установ Європейського Союзу, а також держав з-за меж Європи, зокрема з США, Канади, Австралії, Японії.
